Athletics gave me more than something to do after school — it gave me confidence when I didn’t have it, friendships that shaped my life, mentors who believed in me, and a place where I truly felt like I belonged.
From fifth grade, through high school, and later into coaching, I saw firsthand how athletics shape more than skill. They shape character. They teach resilience after failure, humility in success, discipline when things get hard, and teamwork when it matters most. They help kids discover who they are — not just what they can do.
But along the way, I also saw something that never sat right with me.
I saw talented, hardworking kids miss out — not because they lacked heart, but because their families couldn’t afford the rising costs of uniforms, travel, gym time, or training. I saw opportunity quietly close for children who simply needed a chance.
That’s why I started X Athletics.
Not just to create apparel. Not just to build a brand. But to build access.
X Athletics is my commitment to creating a funding stream for scholarships, community programs, and eventually facilities that open doors instead of closing them. It’s about making sure the next generation doesn’t lose their opportunity because of finances. It’s about making sure more kids get to fall in love with a sport, find their people, build their confidence, and discover who they’re meant to become.
Because passion is everywhere.
Opportunity should be too.
